Immediately post-FUS gadolinium-enhanced T1 MRI showed that parenchyme at target was well enhanced, indicating the successful BBB opening. Afterwards, this area did not show enhancement in MRI at 3 months post-procedure, indicating that the BBB was  temporarily opened and closed
