DP mitigates 6-OHDA-induced motor deficits in the rotarod test. The maximum time (a) and top speed (b) were reduced in the 6-OHDA group, compared with the sham rats. However, DP treatment significantly improved the motor functions at weeks 4 and 5 after injury. DP was applied intraperitoneally at the dosage of 5 mg/kg daily for 5 weeks after injury. **P < 0.01, compared to the 6-OHDA group; #P < 0.05, ##P < 0.01, compared to the sham group; ANOVA.
