Effect of bvPLA2 on genetically induced memory impairment in Tg2576 mice. A timeline have been described that demonstrate the administration of bvPLA2 and the assessment of cognitive function in Tg2576 mice (a). To investigate effect of bvPLA2 on memory impairment, we carried out the water maze test (b, c), the probe test (d), and the step-through type passive avoidance test (e). Memory and learning ability in Tg2576 were determined by the escape latencies (b, sec) and escape distance (c, cm) for 6 days, and time spent in target quadrant (d, %) in the probe test.
