LAMP-1 and LAMP-2A expression patterns in BAC-α-syn-GFP transgenic mice upon DHM and Sal B treatments. Morphological and quantitative analyses of α-syn-GFP in the CS (a, c) and SNpc (b, d) of BAC-α-syn-GFP transgenic mice showed decreased accumulation of α-syn-GFP, but an increased presence of LAMP-1 and LAMP-2A in DHM/Sal B treated groups compared with the saline treated group (8 animals/group, male). Similar results were observed in immunohistochemcally stained CS (e) and SNpc (f) of BAC-α-syn-GFP transgenic mice treated with DHM/Sal B or with saline control. Quantitative analyses of optical density of α-syn-GFP, LAMP-1 and LAMP-2A are displayed in the right panel (g-j for IF intensity, k and l for the intensity of immunoreactivity). Significant differences are indicated (*p<0.05, **p<0.01) as compared with the saline-treated group. Scale bars = 50 μm
